Writers Retreat at the Boulder House for Eight Emerging Writers

Where: Boulder, Utah
What: A four-day autumn guided retreat in Boulder, Utah at A.J. Martine’s Boulder House for eight writers who have not yet published work.
When: September 15 through September 18, 2011
Cost: $150 plus transportation, motel, food (Bring your lunches and your share in making one dinner)
Format:
September 14 - Wednesday night. Participants arrive in Boulder and check into lodging (List of motels to be provided).
September 15 – Thursday
8 am - Breakfast at A.J.’s, introductions, share writing projects, etc
9:30 – 1230 participants write
1230 - 1:30 Lunch as a group (participants – brown bags)
1:30 - 5:30 Write
5:30 – Communal Dinner (participants will bring fixins’ to share with all at least one evening)
7:00- Read and critique work around a camp fire
(wine optional)
September 16 & 17th – Friday & Saturday: same as September 15th
September 18th – Sunday
Breakfast at A.J.’s followed by a in-depth critique of everyone’s work.
12:00 - Lunch then clean up and good-byes!
